On starting BERNINA embroidery software V6 this error message appears: 'Unable to access HASP SRM Run-time Environment (H0033)'. What am I to do?

1. Check if your installed firewall application disables execution of the dongle's licence manager. For this, open your firewall application (refer to the user instructions of your anti-virus/firewall software for information on how to open your firewall application). Switch to your firewall application and add this directory to the list of exceptions:
C:\Windows\System32\hasplms.exe.

2. Check if the dongle's licence manager has started under Services of your Microsoft® Windows operating system.
The status of the dongle's licence manager can be checked in Services:
In Windows® XP: Start - Control Panel - Administrative tools Services.
In Windows Vista™ / Windows® 7: Start - Control Panel - System and Security - Administrative Tools –Services.

'Sentinel HASP License Manager' or 'HASP License Manager' (A) should be in the list, and the status of the respective service should be 'started'. If this isn't case, start the service manually, on the left. (B)
